the number of colours could be reduced even when you can not reduce things

When there are many colours in one spot, it could look like the spot was messy. For example, if you put on grey hat, blue shirt, brown pants, green shoes, that could be cool but could be a bit too colourful at the same time. Even if the each items is super nice. On the other hand, if you choose straw hat, beige shirt, white pants and brown shoes, that would be perfect style especially for summer. One of the reason is the colour tone is only one and that means the impression is quite simple. If your eyes catch something simple, that makes you feel it is tidy in a meaning. This can be used in your room. Even if you have plenty stuff in your room, if the colours of everything was the same, or almost the same, even if similar, the impression people get from the room would definitely different.
